The Teen Leadership Corp (TLC) gives our oldest campers (ages 14 – 15) the opportunity for a new experience at Champion Day Camp. TLCs still experience the best parts of being a Champion camper but also get a feel for what it is like to be a group counselor. TLCs will develop skills needed to work with children, take on responsibilities and be an active and contributing participant in the summer day camp program.

Mornings are spent together participating in day camp activities and team building activities with their own Group Leaders and afternoons are spent assisting in a younger group of campers under the eyes of our Group Leaders. Younger campers see their TLCs as role models and enjoy having them in their group.

TLCs are also involved with the setting up and planning of Special Events and greeting of younger campers each morning. Every week, TLCs have an adventure-filled day trip to water parks, theme parks and other great local attractions.
